Linkage The book, especially meant for Nursing students, encompasses all the aspects of food science and nutrition which are included in their curriculum. An attempt has been made to cover the undergraduate syllabus set by Indian Nursing Council. Besides the basic information of nutrition, aspects of applied nutrition, dietetics and community nutrition are also covered. A new Chapter on ‘nutrition through life cycle’ has been added in this edition. Current issues of nutritional problems in India have been covered supported relevant tables and figures.
