The book draws an outline of ocular anatomy, physiology, and ophthalmic optics in simple English that such students can understand. The book has separate chapters on disorders of different parts of the eyes in simple language. Only the outline of treatment has been given sufficient importance as has been given to preventive methods. No attempt has been made to describe surgical steps that are out of the domain of a paramedic ophthalmic assistant. The book is well illustrated with drawings, photographs, flowcharts, and tables. |
