Ost-Berlin war demnach ein einflussreicher Partner der PLO, der uneingeschränkt für die legitimen Rechte der Palästinenser und ihren eigenen Staat an der Seite Israels eintrat. Aber was bedeutete dies konkret? Wie substanziell war die PLO- und Palästinapolitik der DDR? Inwiefern griff Ost-Berlin in die Machtkämpfe um den Vorsitz der PLO ein?
